We make the Power of Connection
available to everyone, elevating entire communities.
Our work
Assisting the elderly

Especially vulnerable to isolation-related depression, the elderly can benefit significantly from positive interactions with animals. We will connect retirement centers and elder care service organizations to animal welfare organizations with resources to assist elderly pet owners in caring for and keeping their pets.

In addition, we'll partner with Pet Partners, an internationally recognized resource for the training and certification of animal-handler volunteer teams to increase the availability of animal assisted activities throughout communities.
Animals in education
We'll partner with The Pet Trust, increasing and expanding opportunities for educators to engage animals and nature in learning.

In addition, we'll provide internship opportunities for college and university students in fields of study that encourage animal-assisted learning and mental health therapy.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

We'll collaborate with local mental health professionals and organizations, expanding their access to animal-assisted interventions by providing safe, trained animals and certified handlers and through our partnership with Pet Partners, we'll help increase the number of certified pet therapy volunteers in our community.

Our Connection Center campus will also be designed to support animal-assisted therapy by providing safe, private spaces for certified mental health professionals to engage animals in their work with clients.
Animal interactions for all ages
People who are exposed to positive interactions with animals and nature as children have higher levels of empathy, communicate better with their peers and are significantly more likely to seek these interactions as adults. Through our Connection Center, we will provide a wide variety of opportunities for people of all ages to experience the power of Connection.

We will partner with youth groups, targeting populations of children and teens who would otherwise have little access to animals or nature.
